The Qubit Development Timeline

The graph above displays a separate timeline for each company’s quantum computing qubits development goals. Each line represents the assumed linear progression from the current number of qubits to the target number by the goal year:

Atom Computing (Blue): From 1,180 qubits in 2023 to the same number (linear since it’s the current state).

IBM (Green): From 433 qubits in 2023 to 100,000 qubits by 2033.

IonQ (Red), ColdQuanta (Purple),

Fujitsu (Orange): From their current qubits in 2023 to 1,000 qubits, tentatively by 2025.

Google (Brown) and PsiQuantum (Pink): From their current qubits in 2023 to 1,000,000 qubits by 2030.
